Distant Relatives Sen!

I posted about this album a good while back and needless to say was very excited. Since then the album has been pushed back and was nearly canceled, but fret not my disciples this shit is coming out, release date April 20th. The first single, As We Enter, was released today and is fucking flames.

Another song, Strong Will Continue, has also leaked. It's certainly no As We Enter, but supposedly its not the final version either.

Bloggin' Beamin'

James was disappointed with the lack of blogging and threatened to sic Bearhorse on us so I am forced to post out of mere prevention of my welfare. Anywhoo I present to you the supposed intro track, I'm Beaming, off of Lupe Fiasco's upcoming album Lasers, produced by the Plutos or something like that.

The song doesn't require much analysis or breakdown. It's nice to have a grooved out laid back track after the lyrical destruction that was Enemy of the State (Enemy of da Steeaate!). Lupe's album cuts tend to be a bit more straightforward and void of the quintuple entendre head-scratchers that lace his mixtapes. He has a clear message for this album and wants it to be known.
