Like all albums in these days in time the Blueprint 3 leaked today, about 2 weeks prior to it's release date. I will refrain from giving a comprehensive review considering the album has been out for like 3 minutes, but to be honest, it's not looking good. Luckily there's this one song on it that is actually good. Empire State of Mind featuring Alicia Keys is already taking the cake as best song on the album. Keys murders this hook harder than anything in the history of existence. Can't wait to listen to this song for three days straight and then get sick of it.
Luckily Kid Cudi's album is looking to be some epic shit. All the Blueprint 3 has really accomplished is prevent me from continuing to listen to these Cudi snippets every minute of the day.

The Blueprint 3 Is Going To Be Bad?
What the hell is Timbo doing? And why the hell would Jay pick these beats? Luckily these are the only two songs on the album produced by the washed up beat-stealer. But is this album shaping up to be bad or what? Off That has no redeeming qualities and doesn't Jay realize he is 40 years old and we don't wanna hear him make club music anymore? He's spittin some fuego on Reminder but the beat and hook make the song wack as a whole. Blueprint 3 finna be a shoeprint after I step on my non-existant copy in anger due to it's badness.
Oh, and every line on the CD will be followed by a ridiculously annoying AHHH! We haven't heard that one enough yet Jay.
Off That- Shitty
Reminder Whatever

Getcha Some
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kS42y5ghRPY
I realize I haven't posted in a while, and I realize this song isn't very new, but I'm bored with life and felt like writing my opinion about this song. Anywho, this is Big Sean's music video for his first single off his debut album "Finally Famous." Pretty original name considering his first mixtape was entitled "Finally Famous - The Mixtape" and his second mixtaped was called "U Know Big Sean - Finally Famous Vol. 2."
The beat for this song is underwhelming and Big Sean's flow has never really been anything to write home about. Also it's virtually just another song about how great he thinks he is, which is fine, but it's just getting played out. With that in mind, his lyrics are pretty sick for the most part. I was especially titillated when he says "And they askin' can they call me grocery store cause my pockets full of paper and plastic."
Getcha some - Whatever
I apologize that I couldn't embed the video. For some reason embedding for the video has been disabled.

Find The Red Sox Player
Surprised his goatee hadn't come in yet. Shit, his lines don't bode well for his next contract discussions.

Bettering The World
Music by itself has the inherent capacity to uplift a group of people, inspire a generation, and all that inspirational shit, but that occurs maybe once in a lifetime and the artists who attempt to do that usually fail in doing so. Socially progressive music doesn't drop everyday, but Nas and Damian Marley are about to save the entire continent of Africa with the album they hope to release.
If this album doesn't come out I will lose a bit of faith in the world. Not only does the music sound good as fuck, but proceeds from the album will help build a school in Africa. The music's impact will have a concrete and monetary value to it. You know the song with the children's choir will be good, considering songs with little kids singing on them have a 100% success rate. I'm gonna go save a cat from a tree and pick up trash at the beach because Nas and Damian have inspired me to do so.
